Shipping Information

  • Custom Orders ship in up to 10 business days. ALL engraved tags are considered custom, including tags that only have a number engraved on them.
  • Please note that all Ritchey custom tag orders will be engraved at the Ritchey Manufacturing plant in Brighton, CO.
  • All inventory/stock items ship in up to 3 business days, but could take longer during busy times.
  • If your order includes a combination of inventory/stock items and custom ear tags, the order will ship when everything is ready to ship.
  • You will receive a shipment confirmation and tracking information via email the day your order ships.
  • Ritchey uses FedEx and the United States Postal Service (USPS) as shipping carriers.  All shipping costs vary depending on weight.

In rare cases, it may take more time to process your order due to production delays, weather delays, etc. Please note Ritchey strives to meet standard turnaround times year around.

Expedited Shipping

  • When expedited shipping methods are requested, Ritchey will ship your order after standard lead times are met. If you need your tags rushed through the production process, please call 1 800 EAR TAGS for assistance. Please keep in mind that rush options may not be offered during extremely busy times.

Brand/Logo/Ranch Name/Phone Number Set Up

  • When a brand, logo, ranch name, phone number or any other type of custom information is desired, you must call 1 800 EAR TAGS and speak with one of our knowledgeable Sales Associates to place your order. On all new custom set ups, you’ll receive a proof via email. Once you approve the custom information, allow for standard processing time.

Ritchey’s Guarantee:  Ritchey Livestock ID guarantees the information our dual-colored tags will never fade or wear off – it’s permanently engraved in the tag.  The sturdy dual-colored tag is water proof and UV protected, which allows for the permanent information to withstand the test of time, and extreme weather conditions.

Return Policy

  • Call ahead for a return authorization number (RMA).  All return must be accompanied with an RMA on the outside of the package.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
  • Include your name, address, daytime phone number and the reason for the return to insure proper credit.
  • All returns must be made within 30 days of the original invoice date.  A 15% restocking fee may be charged on all returns depending on the condition of tags.
  • All customized tags are not returnable.

We can release account and other personal information when we believe it is appropriate to comply with the law, fraud protection and credit risk reduction.  This does not include selling, renting, sharing, or disclosing personal information from customers for commercial purposes.

Your email will not be shared with outside vendors, we will only use your email for communication from Ritchey Livestock ID.
